Create email templates using HTML and inline CSS for email campaigns in Vertical Response

Responsibilities:

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing kits and campaigns
Conduct demographic research on community needs and program capability

Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối is looking for an experienced information technology (IT) systems admin to lead or advise the IT team and help with computer set-up, installation, troubleshooting, service, security, and maintenance upgrades on a volunteer basis.

Position Description:

The Volunteer Systems administrator is responsible for planning projects and tasks with an all-volunteer IT team of 2-6 people, maintaining existing systems, making recommendations for hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting longstanding issues, and moving the IT infrastructure toward the ultimate goal of a high level of availability and dependability for all systems. The current volunteer IT team has very little systems administration experience, so filling this role is a high priority!

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or similar degree
Microsoft MSCA or MSCE Certification in Windows Server, networking, or other relevant certification
System administration experience
Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, and/or 2016 administration experience
Planning and deploying Microsoft servers

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Executive Director you will:

Write, edit, update and manage recruitment ads for prospective clients
Work with Marketing Specialist to analyze current demographics and client needs
Help strategize ways to foster client growth and program improvements catering to clients’ needs
Seek out new opportunities for placement of recruitment ads within community centers, media, churches, local businesses, etc. around the C-ID community and greater Seattle area

Be a community ambassador for Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối and make warm introductions for Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối to friends, associates, and community leaders.
Recommend board and committee members.

Terms and Time Commitments

Members are elected to a 1-year term (renewable for two additional terms). Monthly time investment: 8-10 hours per month, typically:

2 hours to prepare for and attend a Board meeting (10 per year)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Helping Link is seeking a consultant that has experience outreaching the Vietnamese community to conduct a community needs assessment. The project will consists of focus groups held at Helping Link and outreach to Vietnamese community hubs in the Seattle area. We are looking for someone that has demonstrated success in crafting survey protocols, identifying outreach avenues, and organizing focus groups. The preferred candidate will be someone within the Vietnamese-American community or have extensive experience building relationships with immigrant and refugee communities. The consultant will be responsible for crafting the outreach plan for Helping Link volunteers to execute and then synthesizing data collected. The final product will be an assessment of needs in the Vietnamese American community, gaps in addressing needs, and recommendations on how Helping Link can address those gaps.
